Born in Florence and trained at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Elena Moretti has spent her career at the intersection of Italian textile heritage and contemporary design. Her formative years in the ateliers of Milan's finest fashion houses instilled a deep reverence for fabric as the soul of every garment.
Elena's approach begins not with a sketch, but with touch. She visits the mills of Biella, Prato, and Como personally each season, selecting fabrics by hand — feeling their weight, studying their drape, understanding how light moves across their surface. Only then does the design process begin, guided by the unique character of each textile.
Under her creative direction, TESSITURA has become known for garments that speak quietly but unforgettably — pieces where the excellence of the material and the precision of the craft tell a story that no logo ever could. Her collections are a dialogue between Italian tradition and modern restraint.
